Shillong, July 18: Meghalaya Tourism Minister Paul Lyngdoh on Thursday said the government would like ensure that a world class ropeway project is installed in Meghalaya.
Speaking to reporters, Lyngdoh said, “We are in the last leg of issuing a fresh corrigendum but as you are aware the working season here begins after the monsoons. By early October we should be able to see that the project actually takes off.”
He said that the official inauguration has already been done by the President of India and work on the ground should start by October.
