Tura, June 14: The 43rd battalion of BSF, which has shown toughness against the trans-border crimes in international border, on Tuesday donated blood to ensure blood is readily available to save a precious human life.

The troops of 43 battalion participated in blood donation camp organised by Civil Hospital, Tura in the presence of Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills, Swapnil Tembe.

Expressing his gratitude to the doctors and staff and troops present on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, Tembe said blood donation is the most noble cause and significant contribution that a person can make towards the society and this act can save a precious human lives in need.
