Itanagar, June 3: In a tragic incident, a youth was burnt alive inside his car after his car caught fire after a collision with a tractor at Meka, Roing in Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Jeevan Lakra(30), resident of Dambuk, Arunachal Pradesh.
According to reports, the incident took place in-between 9 pm to 10 pm on June 2 while he traveling from Dambuk to Roing.
“Jeevan Lakra has been travelling from Dambuk to Roing and suddenly his vehicle collided with a tractor at around 9.20 pm on Sunday and it caught fire and he was trapped inside the car and died,” said a local resident.
Meanwhile, police have started an investigation into the incident. The body has been sent for post-mortem and after the medical procedure, his body will be handed over to family members.
It might be mentioned that the newly elected BJP MLA from Dambuk assembly constituency Puiniyor was a close aide of the deceased.
