Shillong, Oct 13: The 17-year-old Sebenia Mawlong who was reported missing since Sunday from her home in Mawlai Nongkwar Block 6, has been found safe on Monday afternoon.
According to her aunt, Sebenia had gone out to attend a birthday party with friends.
The aunt informed that she received a phone call informing that the 17 year old Sebenia was at Mawlai Mawiong with her friends.
After she was found, Sebenia has been taken to Mawlai Police Station for questioning, as her family had filed a missing complaint earlier in the morning.
Her aunt added that Sebenia did asked her mother for permission before leaving, but did not receive any.
However, while the mother was asleep she went to the party without informing anyone, which prompted the concern and the subsequent police complaint.
