Shillong, Aug 29: Over 358 cases of suicide have been registered in East Khasi Hills alone during the last five years.

This was informed by deputy chief minister in-charge home (police) Prestone Tynsong in a reply tabled in the Assembly on Thursday.

“The total number of suicide cases since last five years in East Khasi Hills District 358,” he said.
