Tura, Nov 8: The Christian Book Fair 2022, organised by Beautiful Books, began at Tura, opposite the District Auditorium, on Tuesday. The fair will end on November 12.
Beautiful Books has headquarters in Chennai and has a branch in shillong. They have been organising such fairs around Garo Hills and recently wrapped up a similar book fair at Baghmara where they had overwhelming response, said Dr. Sengkan K Marak, the coordinator for Beautiful Books Fair.
Speaking to Hub News, Daniel Francis, manager, Beautiful Books said, “We have received great response in many parts of Garo Hills and as we are in tura we hope of getting good response.”
The Fair has many books on display written by various authors from around the globe as well as from Garo Hills. There are also sections for kids, frames printed with Bible verses, Tshirts, gift items, music items and Christmas items.
