Shillong, Feb 5: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBoSE) has notified that the examination schedule for class IX (internal examination) 2021 shall begin from March 12 till March 24th.
According to an MBoSE official who spoke to Hub News there are approximately 60000 students from class IX who will appear for the internal examination, this year.
The official further stated that the examination dates for the upcoming Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) will be notified once it is approved by the state government.
Earlier, the MBoSE had notified the dates for Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) for Class XII Practical examination/project work for Arts, Commerce and Science which will commence from March 23 and conclude on April 1.
It may be mentioned that around 40,000-42,000 candidates are likely to appear for the HSSLC examination.
With the examinations being conducted in the midst of a pandemic, authorities in MBoSE have informed that the schools have been instructed to adhere to SOPs issued by the government.
