Guwahati, Feb 8: Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has revealed its candidates for three parliamentary seats. Manoj Dhanohar will contest from Dibrugarh, Bhaven Chaudhary from Guwahati, and Rishi Raj from Sonitpur.
The party announced its candidates for the three seats in Assam: Dibrugarh, Guwahati, and Sonitpur.
Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak announced the names of the candidates and hoped that the India bloc would allow them to contest from these constituencies in Assam.
“We have done the discussion many times, and now we are tired. We want to win elections. We have full faith that the Indian bloc will accept it. We are beginning preparations for these three seats immediately,” Pathak said.
He said, “Our main fight is with the Modi government, and we will do well in the upcoming polls.”
