Shillong, Dec 11: Deputy Chief Minister incharge Home Prestone Tynsong on Monday informed that the government will soon fill up more than 3,000 posts in the police department.

Speaking to reporters, Tynsong said, “The process is almost completed then the advertisement will be out very soon; if not this year at least early next year we will come out with the advertisement.”

According to him, there are over 3000 plus vacant posts in the police department.
