South Korea, Jan 29: A fire erupted in the tail section of an Air Busan (BX) Airbus A321 at Gimhae International Airport in Busan, South Korea on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred at 10:30 p.m. as the aircraft prepared for its scheduled flight to Hong Kong (HKG).
Emergency protocols were activated immediately, leading to the successful evacuation of all 176 passengers and crew members from the aircraft. Fire response teams rushed to the scene and began containment operations.
Local authorities have confirmed the absence of injuries or casualties during the evacuation process. Fire suppression efforts continue as emergency responders work to fully extinguish the blaze in the aircraft’s tail section.
