Anand Mahindra invites Conrad Sangma to Blues Festival after viral video; Check Meghalaya CM’s reply

Shillong, Dec 29: Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of Mahindra Group, extended an invitation to the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Sagma, urging his presence at the upcoming Mahindra Blues Festival scheduled for February.

Mahindra, known for his enthusiasm for the arts, particularly music, expressed excitement about having CM’s participation in this premier musical event.

After Anand Mahindra’s post on X, Conrad Sangma responded to his invite. CM wrote, ‘Would love to @anandmahindra… need more practice though :)’

Mahindra’s invite also generated buzz and anticipation among followers and music enthusiasts.

Anand Mahindra’s recent invitation comes in the wake of a viral video featuring Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma. The video showcases Sangma’s remarkable guitar skills as he plays an Iron Maiden solo on stage, garnering widespread attention on social media.

CM had shared the video on his official social media handles with a caption that read, “Another rocking night…iron maiden this…”

Last year, CM posted a video effortlessly performing the same Iron Maiden classic. Sangma’s caption humorously mentioned, ‘After a busy 3-day Assembly session, unwinding with some Iron Maiden stuff. It’s been a while since I played, so I guess a few mistakes.

In 2021, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma delighted his audience by sharing a video of himself singing the timeless classic ‘Summer of 69’ by Bryan Adams. His social media accounts are brimming with similar musical content, including a video where he skillfully plays Joe Satriani’s ‘Always With Me, Always With You.’ In the accompanying caption, Mr. Sangma details his progress in mastering the rendition, offering a glimpse into his ongoing musical journey.
