To provide a patient-friendly experience, the center has introduced Patient Care Executives, who will assist patients from arrival to departure. For senior citizens, home sample collection and doorstep report delivery will be offered, eliminating the need for frequent hospital visits.

With many Meghalaya residents traveling to cities like Chennai and Kolkata for specialized medical care, the center aims to bridge this gap by offering telemedicine consultations with top Apollo specialists from Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata and Guwahati. Patients can now seek second opinions and follow-up care locally without the hassle of traveling long distances.

While Apollo follows standard pricing, the rates are adjusted to local market dynamics to ensure affordability.

Deb confirmed that tie-ups with government health insurance schemes like MHIS and CGHS will be introduced after an initial operational period of three months.

Apollo Trinity Medical Center is committed to making quality healthcare accessible, and while the Megha Health Insurance Scheme (MHIS) scheme is not available at launch, CEO Devagurya Deb assured that it will be implemented in the next three to four months.

He explained that the initial focus is on streamlining operations and ensuring smooth service delivery before onboarding government schemes like MHIS and Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS). Once integrated, these schemes will provide significant financial relief to patients, making Apollo’s specialized care more affordable for the local population.

Looking ahead, Apollo Trinity Medical Center plans to launch a Super-Specialty Apollo Hospital in Shillong within the next one and a half to two years.
