Tura, April 26: Knockouts continued as the 3rd P.A. Sangma Memorial Day & Night Cricket Tournament completed Day 4 on Friday at the Police Parade ground in Tura, leaving only the best in the competition.

Selsella Jarambong Sports Association delivered a dominant performance in their match against MeEPDCL. After MeEPDCL batted first and was quickly bowled out for just 25 runs in 8.5 overs, Selsella chased down the target in mere 6 balls.

Limbirt Marak scored an unbeaten 26 runs, securing an easy, wicket-less victory for his team. Salnang Marak of Selsella Jarambong Sports Association was awarded the player of the match for scalping 4 wickets in 2.5 overs.

Last match of the day featured an intense game between Coolie No.1 and Singwill Youth Club. Coolie No.1 batted first and set a target for 85 runs (scoring 84) before being bowled out in their 10 overs, with Krish scoring 37 in just 21 balls.

Singwill Youth Club demonstrated superb performance and chased down the target in 8.4 overs for a loss of just one wicket, attaining a smooth victory. Anup Mabn of Singwill Youth Club was awarded player of the match.

Result of other matches:
– Nokma Ice-cream defeated Rongkugre FC by 7 wickets. The player of the match was awarded to Starson Marak of Nokma Ice-cream.

– Underrated XI defeated Royal Souls by 8 wickets. The player of the match was awarded to Saddam Rahman of Underrated XI.

– Hyper Hawks registered a 4 wicket win against United We Are. The player of the match was awarded to Jasmine of Hyper Hawks.

– Cool Thunders won against Lions Den Squad by 1 wicket. The player of the match was awarded to Amrit Kalyani of Cool Thunders.

– Dillang Challenge won by 114 runs against Apex Archer. The player of the match was awarded to Amisal Sangma of Dillang Challenge.

– Munna Malik registered a 4 wicket win against The Swingers. The player of the match was awarded to Garnik Marak of Munna Malik.
