Guwahati, Mar 21: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa hailed Assam police on the arrest of Haris Farooqi and one of his associates from Dhubri. The duo is on the most wanted list of National Investigation Agency (NIA).

In a post on the social media platform, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma pledged on Thursday to “eradicate” terrorism from the nation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Responding to a tweet from the Assam police, CM Biswa stated, “We shall continue our fight against fundamentalism and eradicate terrorism from our nation under the leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister @narendramodi. Thank you, @assampolice.”
