Guwahati, Dec 28: The family members of Dipankar Gogoi alleged that due to the harrasment of police he(Dipankar) took the drastic step.

Talking to reporters, Khagen Gogoi, father of deceased Dipankar Gogoi said, “My son faced harrasment and he could not take the mental pressure and commited suicide. After the Jorhat grenade blast, Dipankar was regularly taken to police station for questioning. He was not involved in the grenade blast case because on that day, he was cooking at home. Every day Dipankar faced mental harrasment and he told us that he could not bear such mental anxiety because he was forcefully dragging in that case,”.
