Guwahati, Jan 22: During a press conference at Dispur Press Club in Guwahati on Monday, the Forum of Assam Opposition demanded Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s resignation in the wake of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra attack in Sonitpur district. The opposition also expressed condemnation for the prevention of Rahul Gandhi’s entry into Srimanta Sankardev Satra on the same day.
