Guwahati, April 12: Bongaigaon Police in Assam, arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of a Bhutanese national, Tek Bahadur Ghalley, who was murdered in Assam on March 26.
This was reported by Kuensel, state-run newspaper of Bhutan.
Thenrap Lepcha was arrested in Siliguri on April 10, while Krishna Prasad Adhikari was apprehended in Dadgari on April 11. Both suspects are Bhutanese nationals. The police also recovered the vehicle belonging to the victim.

A follow-up investigation has been initiated, and the Royal Bhutan Police, Gelephu Division, is working in close collaboration with Bongaigaon Police.
The body of Tek Bahadur Ghalley was recovered near the banks of the Aie River in Bongaigaon district on March 27, and a case was registered at the Bongaigaon Police Station.
The victim from Samtse, who was temporarily residing in Jaigaon, was travelling to Gelephu on 26 March to collect a consignment; however, police records confirm that he did not arrive.
The victim worked as a hired pickup driver and is survived by his wife and their 11-month-old son.
