Awareness Programme on Stress and Anxiety Disorders held at CAPF Composite Hospital

Guwahati, May 25: The Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) Composite Hospital, Patgaon, in association with Border Security Force (BSF), Guwahati Frontier, organized an awareness program on “Stress and Anxiety Disorder-Emerging Issues” on May 24, 2024.

The objective of the program was to create awareness and educate the troops and their families on how to overcome or heal from common mental health issues.

Dr R K Kotnala, DIG (Med)/MS delivered the welcome speech, which was followed by a detailed lecture by Dr Mythili Hazarika, M Phil., Phd., Associate Professor, Department of Clinical Psychology, GMCH, Guwahati.

In his closing speech, Dinesh Kumar Yadav, IPS, Inspector General (IG) Frontier HQ, BSF Guwahati, applauded CH BSF Patgaon’s efforts in organizing the program.

An official release said that around 200 people attended the program, including Officers, Subordinate officers, Jawans, and families of BSF, NDRF, and Composite Hospital Patgaon, Guwahati.
