Mankachar, Feb 2: India’s Border Security Force (BSF) and Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) had a friendly meet on February 2.

BSF Northeast Frontier IG Sanjiv Kumar welcomed the BGB 35th batellion led by its lieutenant-general Muntasir Mamun

The meet was organized along the Indo-Bangladesh borders at Sahapara in Mankachar district of Assam.

They welcomed cyclists of Maitri Rally that reached on Geb 2 from Panitar in West Bengal

The rally was organized to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of late Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as ‘Mujib Borsho’

The rally will kick start from Assam in February and will end on February 12 at Mizoram after making a full outline of India’s border with Bangladesh
