Shillong, March 15: A reckless move by a Border Security Force (BSF) truck almost resulted in a serious accident on Wednesday afternoon. The incident, which occurred at around 2:00 PM, took place near the Civil Hospital in Shillong and led to a heated argument between the BSF personnel and a biker.

The BSF truck, bearing number ML 05 W 7421, was driving on the Barik-Civil Hospital Road when it nearly collided with a two-wheeler bearing registration number ML 05 5069. The bike was being driven by M.K. Marak, who was accompanied by his wife and child. Marak had signalled before entering the hospital, but the BSF truck allegedly took over carelessly, almost hitting the biker and his family.

This reckless driving led to a heated argument between the two parties, which quickly escalated. In the heat of the moment, a BSF personnel even took out an iron bar from the truck with the intention of attacking Marak.

The argument soon attracted a small crowd of onlookers, but the situation was quickly brought under control by the city police and traffic personnel. Thankfully, there were no injuries reported from either side.
