Guwahati, April 28: Ahead of the third phase of  Lok Sabha polls Bijuli Kalita Medhi who is BJP’s candidate of Guwahati’s Lok Sabha Seat is campaigning vigorously in Guwahati. BJP has planned  massive campaign for her candidature.

According to party sources, the party’s state president, Bhabesh Kalita, has entrusted Ajanta Neog, Dr. Ranoj Pegu, Bimal Borah, and Jogen Mohan to render their services as campaign incharge.

Bijuli Kalita Medhi is contesting against Congress candidate Mira Borthakur Goswami. Both Medhi and Goswami are the first-timers to contest such a big-scale election.

During election campaigns Bijuli Kalita Medhi said that, “you can see how much respect people have given me. We are holding 12 meetings a day. I try to go and visit every ward and meet people and  hold meetings”.

She added that, “ministers are doing election campaigning for me and holding meetings with people as well”.
