Guwahati, Nov 7: A video is doing the rounds on social media where the jawans of the Assam Rifles can be seen rescuing the Manipur Police commandos ambushed by militants on a highway near the India-Myanmar border town of Moreh.
The incident is said to have taken place on October 31.

According to reports, the commandos were going to Moreh, which is 115 km from Imphal, as reinforcements after a senior police officer was shot dead by an insurgent sniper while he was overseeing the construction of a helipad in the border town.
