Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh on Thursday said that anyone who have entered the State post 1961 will be deported back, irrespective of their caste or community. He said that the process to identify such individuals will be initiated and the government will deport them.

Large quantity of arms and ammunition recovered

In two separate joint operations by the Security Forces, large quantity of Arms and Ammunition were recovered from Kangpokpi and Bishnupur districts of Manipur. The operations were launched based on specific inputs about presence of arms cache and explosives on Wednesday, a report said.
