GUWAHATI, March 3: The central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a chargesheet against seven accused persons in a case related to the loot of arms and ammunition from the 2nd Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) in Manipur.
An FIR was lodged at Narenseina under Moirang police station in Bishnupur district of Manipur about loot of around 300 arms, 19,800 ammunitions and around 800 types of munitions and other accessories.
Further investigation revealed that the suspects were involved in looting of arms and ammunitions and other aspects is continuing,” s CBI spokesperson said here in an official statement.
The chargesheet against the miscreants were filed in the court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Kamrup (Metro), Guwahati on March 2.

The CBI registered the case at Moirang Police Station following notifications issued by the Manipur government and subsequently by the Central government under DSPE Act, 1946.
