Shillong, Jan 17: The much anticipated ceremonial torch of the Meghalaya Games will arrive in Shillong from Tura on 18th January 2025, marking a significant moment on the countdown to the games.

The torch will be brought to the MUDA Two-Wheeler Parking Lot in Shillong, where it will be displayed for one hour, providing an excellent photo opportunity for enthusiasts, athletes and members of the public.

Following this , the torch will commence its journey at 3:00 pm from Police Bazaar, travelling through the city to Madanryting, symbolizing the unity and spirit of the games.

This event invites all citizens to come forward and witness this historic occasion, showcasing Meghalaya’s rich sporting and cultural heritage.
