TURA, June 1: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma will be holding a meeting with various garo organizations and bodies on matters relating to the Reservation Roster at Tura circuit house conference hall on June 3rd at 11:30 AM, an official communique mentioned.

The meeting comes shortly after the Garo organizations from the region refused to participate in a similar meeting on the reservation roster at Shillong.

Some of the prominent Garo groups that are expected to participate in the discussion with the chief minister of this contentious issue include the Garo Students Union, both CEC and Interim body, the Garoland State Movement Committee, Mothers Union of Tura, A’chik Holistic Awakening Movement, All India Garo Union, Association for Democracy and empowerment, A’chik Youth Welfare Organization, Federation for A’chik Freedom, All A’chik Youth Federation, A’chik Organization for Social Welfare, and the Niksamso Garo Community Organization.
