We have consolidated all the department’s land, and it came to 25 acres. We have also sanctioned around 120-130 crores projects. We have finished IT park phase 1 now we will finish with phase 2 during September or October. We are also thinking of expanding the Tura beautification project throughout the town,” announced the chief minister.

Commending the efforts of the state government, Tura MP Agatha K Sangma said that it has been a delight to see Tura transform and recalled the progress made during the construction of Nazing Bazar complex.

“After many hurdles we have finally seen the inauguration of the Nazing Bazar complex. When the Chandmari field was inaugurated, I thought this will be the centre of Tura, because this was beautifully made, but when the Tura PA Sangma stadium was made, I thought about it the same way that maybe PA Sangma Stadium will be the centre because it has been made in a grand way and inaugurated by our CM. Now we also have Nazing Bazar as one of the centres of marketing in Tura, and if you look at it in a way, this will be the sign of development of our town, because not just one area is being developed but it’s the development of the nook and corners of Tura,” said Agatha Sangma.

The opening of the Nazing Bazar shopping complex marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing efforts to enhance urban infrastructure and stimulate economic growth in Tura. As the project progresses, it is poised to become a beacon of progress and prosperity for the town and its residents.
