Adokgre, Oct 1: Addressing different producers group at Reking in Adokgre, North Garo Hills, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma encouraged the farmers and producer groups to work collectively and enhance their farming enterprise.He told that Govt through FOCUS programme will collaborate with farmers producers groups and ensure that problems faced by the farming community is resolved.He informed that the farmers’ groups across the State are availing financial benefits from the scheme and it is through this endeavour the Govt will ensure that farming in the State becomes viable and sustainable.
He interacted with various producers group and handed over cheques amounting to ₹31.15 lakhs to 35 producers group from Adokgre region in North Garo Hills.
