Tura, Feb 17: The Council of Nokmas today expressed their gratitude to Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma for organizing the first-ever pre-budget consultation with various stakeholders and the public at large.

“We hope that Pa Conrad K. Sangma will remain at the helm for a long time so that Meghalaya continues to grow and develop under his dynamic leadership,” stated a release issued by the executive committee of the Council of Nokmas.

On February 12, the pre-budget consultation was broadcast LIVE, allowing people from all walks of life to participate.

During the consultation, the chief minister urged people to submit their suggestions, which could be incorporated into the state’s growth and development plans.
