Guwahati, Oct 14: In a football crazy northeast, excitement is building up for the India-Pakistan cricket battle, which will be played at Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday afternoon.
Fans in Assam are excited to see the high voltage match between India and Pakistan.
“Today, India will win the match. We are very excited to see the match. After 2016, Pakistan has come to India. We are very excited and looking forward to the game,” said a cricket fan in Guwahati.
Laxman Choudhury, cricket coach in Guwahati, is busy with his students, giving tips to the students on how to play better and weight transfer.
“It’s a high voltage game and India will definitely win the match. We are very much excited and support India and appeal everyone to watch the match. India has a balanced side and all the players have performed good in the previous matches,” said Choudhury.
A young cricketer said, “The match will be played at Narendra Modi stadium which has a capacity of over 1.50 lakh. Today’s match will be interesting and we are hopeful that India will easily win the match against Pakistan.”
