Tura, Dec 6: As a part of outreach effort, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) under its Civic Action Programme 2023-2024 took strides to illuminate villages and improve infrastructure in the Williamnagar region. Commandant Pramod Kumar Singh, alongside Assistant Commandant Sujoy Golui and CRPF Jawans from the 120 Bn, inaugurated two Solar Street lights at Chisobibra village Tri Junction and one at New Chidekgre (Baija Kusimkolgre) village.
The inauguration ceremonies witnessed the active participation and enthusiasm of the villagers, expressing their satisfaction with the newly installed solar street lights. The initiative is a part of the CRPF’s ongoing commitment to community welfare and development.
As part of the same programme, the 120 Bn CRPF undertook the renovation of dilapidated toilet blocks and facilitated a running water facility at Bolkinggiri Deficit, UP School, Williamnagar (EGH). This development work was met with appreciation and joy by both teachers and students, significantly improving the school’s infrastructure.
Commandant Pramod Kumar Singh, expressing satisfaction with the impact of the programme, assured the community of more such initiatives in the future. The CRPF remains dedicated to fostering positive changes and contributing to the well-being of the communities it serves.
