Mawkyrwat, Sep 9: The Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court, Justice Biswanath Somadder on Thursday inaugurated the District & Sessions Court building at Mawkyrwat in South West Khasi Hills District.

The Mawkyrwat District & Sessions Court building was inaugurated in the presence of Justice H. S Thangkhiew, Justice R. V. More, Justice W. Diengdoh, Power Minister James K Sangma and Mawkyrwat MLA Renikton Lyngdoh Tongper.

James K Sangma, in his Facebook post, said, “This is a matter of pride not only for the district but the entire State as this will go a long way in providing speedy justice to our citizens and to those who come seeking for a fair process and a fair judgement”.
He added that the MDA government is committed to strengthen the judicial system in Meghalaya.

Sangma also congratulate the State Judiciary, the Government, and the people of the district.
