Washington, Aug 25: Former U.S. President Donald Trump was arrested on Wednesday (August 24) at a Georgia jail.
Following which,on Thursday evening, a historic Donald Trump’s criminal mug shot was released at an Atlanta jail on charges that he conspired to overturn the result of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia. The 77-year-old Donald Trump had his mug shot taken during the booking process; this is the first time any serving or former US president has done so.
Donald Trump, who enjoyed 88 million followers when Twitter banned him, shared a photo of the mug shot with the words: “ELECTION INTERFERENCE! NEVER SURRENDER!”
In  January 2021, Trump’s Twitter account was permanently suspended, citing the risk of further incitement to violence following the storming of the US Capitol.

According to reports, Trump spent around 20 minutes in jail before heading back to his New Jersey golf club.
