Tura, May 21: In a very embarrassing turn of events, another match has been cancelled after Druma Sandruma once again fails to field players on match day on Tuesday against West Balalgre Club.
This is the second time that Druma Sandruma has failed to field players. The first instance was on April 3 against Chipakkore FC.
According to match officials, the cancellation was due to the majority of Druma Sandruma players either being injured, unwell, or engaged in their personal commitments. In light of the cancellation, the officials have decided to award the opposing team, West Balalgre Club, with a win and all three points.
Furthermore, this marks the second time in the league that the Druma Sandruma team has failed to field a team on the scheduled game day, with today’s match being their last league match of the Tura Football League.
The Druma team will be penalized in compliance with the rules and regulations of the game set by the District Football Association; further decisions on the matter are yet to be discussed.
The league will proceed as scheduled with the remaining fixtures.
