Shillong, April 27: One dumper truck fell into the gorge at Lyngkyrdem near Pynursla on Thursday evening. No casualties were reported.

As per report, the incident happened at around 5 PM in the evening, near Rngaiñ area where landslide had occurred on April 15, 2023 which claimed two precious lives.

The cause of the incident could not be ascertained but the truck had ramped into the fencing before falling into the deep gorge.

The driver, who is a local resident of Langkyrdem, was seriously wounded and has been admitted to Pynursla CHC.
