Why Delhi Police seeks info of people from North-East? Direct link to fill up Google form here

Shillong, Aug 6: The Delhi Police has asked people from the Northeastern region residing in the national capital to provide details about themselves. Delhi Police also urged for details of Gorkhas from Darjeeling and those belonging to Ladakh to provide information.

This step is being taken to ensure better policing and their safety and security.

According to the Joint Commissioner of Police, Special Police Unit for North East Region, New Delhi, PN Khrimey, said though many people belonging to the Northeast, Ladakh, Gorkhas of Darjeeling are living in different parts of the national capital, and no specific data or details are being maintained by any agency or organisation, according to an official release issued by the Assam government.

He further said that this is being done for better policing and ensuring their safety and security.

Officer said the residents can fill up a Google form: for enlisting their names with other details about themselves.

The Official release said that Google form link is being circulated on social media, community and student leaders of the Northeast, Gorkhas of Darjeeling.

Here is how you can fill in the form:

  1. Click on the Google form
  2. Now enter the details like- Name, Address, Gender, DOB, Phone No, State, Name of Community.
  3. Once done filling the details, click on “SUBMIT”
