Shillong: In a tragic incident, a man in his 30s died on Monday in an explosion at a house in Smit under Madanrting Police Station, Meghalaya.

The victim has been identified Bah Khongwir.

The exact cause of the explosion is yet to be known.

However, bomb squad and police team have reached the spot where the explosion took place.

Investigation is underway.
