Williamnagar, Sept 5: In a proud moment for the State, Gamchi Timre R Marak from East Garo Hills has been awared with the prestigious National Awards to Teachers 2022.
Marak is the head teacher of Educere Higher Secondary School in Williamnagar, East Garo Hills, and is amongst the seven North East Teachers who were conferred with this award.
President Droupadi Murmu presented the National Awards to Teachers 2022 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
The Ministry of Education has been organizing the national level awards on Teachers’ Day every year to honor the best teachers of the country, selected through a rigorous, transparent, and online three-stage selection process.
