Garo rock band to celebrate silver jubilee with live concert on Dec 15

Tura, Nov 9: Garo Hills based rock band ‘Eye2Eye’ is celebrating 25 years of its musical adventure with an open air live concert at Asanang field, 18 kms from Tura, on December 15 as part of its silver jubilee.

The band was formed in the year 1997 at Tura by two music enthusiasts college students of Don Bosco College, Tura – current Meghalaya Police service MPS Bruno A Sangma, who is presently Commandant of 2nd MLP Battalion, and his friend Bobby Moore marak, Inspector of police, Tura, while preparing for their graduation.

They have not looked back, going on to perform in various competitive musical events in Meghalaya, especially Garo Hills.

The band has released as many as seven albums till date.

As a gesture of gratitude to its fans, the rock band decided to celebrate their silver jubilee with an open air concert in Asanang.

Two rock bands from Garo Hills will also perform on the stage at Asanang to celebrate the band’s silver jubilee.
