Guwahati, Sept 12: All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief, Badruddin Ajmal, on Tuesday said he supports India and INDIA alliance and is hopeful it will come to power.
Talking to reporters in Guwahati, Badruddin Ajmal said, “We support INDIA alliance and hopeful that we are going to come in the next elections. Narendra Modi will not become the Prime Minister in 2024.”
AIUDF is a part of INDIA alliance and the party chief and Dhubri MP Badruddin Ajmal clearly said that in the 2024 election the INDIA alliance will form government by ousting BJP from power.
INDIA alliance was formed by all the opposition parties of India against BJP, with many regional as well as small parties joining hands to oust BJP from power in 2024 Lok Sabha polls.
Ajmal held meeting with Assam chief minster Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday regarding several issues. He requested Assam CM to upgrade the B.N. College of Dhubri to University.
“I have discussed several issues with Assam CM regarding Dhubri. He assured me that he will look after the matter and take all necessary steps,” Ajmal told media persons outside Assam Legislative Assembly.
