Shillong, Oct 10: Meghalaya’s Rajya Sabha MP, Dr WR Kharlukhi, along with 26 other pilgrims from the State will safely return to home in a matter of few days’ time, Deputy Chief Minister Sniawbhalang Dhar said on Tuesday.
“Just day before yesterday they successfully crossed the border (amidst escalating tensions in the Israel-Palestine conflict zone). All of them are okay,” Dhar said.
He informed that the chief minister Conrad K Sangma had taken up the matter with the Government of India. “According to him, they have crossed the border and there is no problem as they will now safely return in a few days’ time,” Dhar said.
