Puramon Kynjing narrated the story and life of Kiang Nangbah. As to what made him lead the resistance against the British, it was because of the house tax that was levied on each household of Jowai town.

He further elaborated on the vicious acts committed by the British soldiers especially when it comes to the cremation of the dead, and other religious ceremonies performed by the Niamtre faithful during the tyrant reign of the Britishers.
