Shillong, Jan 19: The North Eastern Council (NEC) will hold its 69th Plenary Session in Shillong on the 23rd and 24th of January which will be attended by the NEC Chairman and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
With just three days left for the session, MoS Ministry of DoNER and Vice Chairman, Dr. Jitender Singh on Tuesday held a meeting with senior officers of the ministry and NEC in New Delhi to review the preparedness and modalities for the 69th Plenary Session of NEC at Shillong.

 The two-day meeting in Shillong will be attended by the Minister of State for Independent Charge, Ministry of development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) & Vice Chairman, Dr. Jitender Singh, and members of NEC consisting of the Hon’ble Governors and Chief Ministers of the eight North-Eastern states and other members.
Senior Officials from the States and key Ministries of the Government of India are also expected to be present on the occasion.
