Joyshelman D. Sangma elected Vice-President of PGSU 2025–26 at NEHU Tura Campus

Tura, Feb 20: The North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Tura Campus has officially declared the new office bearers of the Post Graduate Students’ Union (PGSU) for the 2025–26 academic session, with all candidates elected unopposed.

Mr. Joyshelman D. Sangma (4th Semester, Horticulture) has been elected as Vice-President. Other elected members include Mr. Balpang K. Sangma (4th Semester, Management) as Secretary; Mr. Andy Tengsram D. Sangma (2nd Semester, Horticulture) as Assistant Secretary; Ms. Lenysa M. Marak (4th Semester, MBA) as Finance Secretary; Ms. Jumesha M. Marak (4th Semester, MBA) as Games and Sports Secretary; Ms. Annane Shalisha A. Sangma (2nd Semester, Forestry) as Publicity Secretary; Ms. Roda Onchiba N. Sangma (4th Semester, Horticulture) as Socio-Cultural Secretary; Ms. Michira Ch. Marak (4th Semester, English) as Academic Secretary and Mr. Abihail Mingku N. Marak (2nd Semester, English) as Editor.

According to the notification issued by Returning Officer Dr. Kalkame Ch. Momin, the formal handing and taking over of charge by the newly elected PGSU body will be held today at the PGSU Office, NEHU Tura Campus.
