Shillong, Aug 14: The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) on Wednesday apprehended 24 suspected Bangladeshi nationals from along the international border with Bangladesh in South West Khasi Hills District.

“We also issue strict warning against contractors and employers from engaging Bangladeshi nationals as labourers,” it said. The KSU also warned to take stern action if the BSF and state authorities fail to take adequate measures against any illegal entry by Bangladeshi nationals into the state.
