Laban gets Police booth to manage traffic and pedestrians safety

Shillong, May 15: BJP legislator from South Shillong Sanbor Shullai on Thursday inaugurated a police booth at Red Cross, Laban.

Speaking on the occasion, Shullai said Rs 1.30 lakh was sanctioned for the police booth under the MLA’s discretionary grant.

He also said that the setting up of the police booth was based on the request of the public, who have expressed concern against traffic problem.

“We need a police booth to regulate the flow of traffic and ensure safety to pedestrians including school students,” Shullai added.

Later, Shullai also inaugurated a pay & use public toilet at Red Cross.
