Shillong, July 1: The Meghalaya Power Distribution Corporation Limited (MePDCL) has announced that the load shedding imposed in the entire State has not been withdrawn.
The news being circulated through social media etc, that load shedding has been lifted is not true, the MePDCL said in a statement.
The load shedding shall be withdrawn only when the water level in Umiam reservoir reaches a comfortable level, it added.
