Agartala, June 5: The national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jagat Prakash Nadda, is likely to arrive in Tripura on June 18.
According to a source close to the party said that JP Nadda will be visiting Tripura’s Santirbazar in South district to address a party rally on the same day.
Sources also said that Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha along with BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharya, and other party leaders in a recent meeting which was chaired by CM ensured the success of the event.
JP Nadda’s rally in the state will mark the beginning of the BJP’s campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024.
The sources also mentioned that the upcoming rally in the state will be focusing on two main topics including celebration of PM Modi’s nine years in office and the the Lok Sabha election 2024.
It is also said that JP Nadda will also scheduled to hold meetings with senior BJP leaders in the state to discuss plans and strengthen the organization for the upcoming election.
