Aniisu K Verghese’s new book “Inclusive Internal Communications” challenges Current Internal Communications Practices

Must read

Shillong, June 5: Internal communications and change management expert Aniisu K Verghese Ph. D. has published a new book titled “Inclusive Internal Communications”, which focuses on the concept of inclusion from the perspective of staff as partners in communications.

This book is meant for managers, leaders, internal communicators, prospective communicators, students, and academicians interested in the evolving field of internal communications.

The author of the book, Verghese says, “Inclusive Internal Communications is more than just a buzzword or a trendy phrase in the corporate world.”

He also said that it is a powerful tool that organisations build trust, increase productivity, and enhance their internal brand and reputation.

He says, “By involving and engaging staff, inviting them to share their ideas and feedback, and making communication accessible and intuitive, organisations can create a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation.”

The book focuses on the Inclusive Framework, emphasising the importance of involving staff, partnering with employees, and crowdsourcing solutions for communication and business effectiveness.

The book also covers topics like nurturing partnerships, involving all staff, leveraging employee insights, co-creating solutions, inviting ideas, using inclusive language and actions, sharing stories of employee contributions, and feedback, valuing employee talent, and evaluating and evolving with employee input.

In the book, Verghese also emphasises on the importance of internal communicators letting go of control and providing autonomy and choice to staff to create a culture where staff feel empowered to share their feedback and ideas, and where communication is seen as a two-way communication rather than a one-way information flow.

Where to get this book

The book is available in paperback and e-book versions on Amazon (Global, UK, India etc), Kobo, Kindle (Global and India), and Google Play Books.
