Williamnagar, November 14: Loyola School, a Jesuit institution in Williamnagar, celebrated Children’s Day with a heartwarming blend of joy, compassion, and purpose. The event commemorated the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru—fondly remembered as “Chacha Nehru”—in a manner that honored his vision of nurturing children as the nation’s future.
The day was packed with fun, laughter, and activities that made the students feel cherished. The school organized exciting games and set up vibrant food stalls, where students enjoyed treats and celebrated their special day to the fullest.
Teachers added to the festive spirit with colorful performances that captivated the young audience.
Beyond the joy and festivities, Loyola School’s celebration held a deeper purpose. The school aimed to raise funds for flood victims in Dalu and Kerala, reflecting its commitment to empathy and service. Principal Fr. Victor Dmello expressed his happiness at the event’s success, sharing his joy in seeing students revel in the celebration while contributing to a meaningful cause.
